Week 12/25 Action 4: Make Resistance Your New Year’s Resolution

Trump makes it irresistible to resist him. 

But resistance still takes time and effort. It can be also be draining and boring. I know that many of us are already wondering “Can I really keep calling the same elected officials over and over again?” 

The answer is yes. We must. We will be here to guide you week by week. But this will be a marathon, not a sprint.

In 2017, all-of-us must commit to making a habit out of resistance. As Aristotle said, “we are what we repeatedly do.”  

Let's get started:

1. Reflect on how much time each week you can commit to resisting Trump, and why it is important to take that time.

2. Make resisting Trump your 2017 New Year’s resolution, and be specific. For example, “In 2017 I will spend [__] hours each week resisting Trump’s hateful policies. I am doing this because his policies threaten  [________________]."

3. Encourage others to join you by sharing your resolution and tagging it #2017ResistTrump.
